Writing Memorable Essays With Persuasive Essay Topics
There are a lot of writing techniques out there on how to write persuasive essays. Some writers tend to overuse these techniques. In my opinion, this is not the best way to write persuasive essays. Most times the power comes from subtlety and using the persuasive techniques and styles can take you from having a good writing style to something completely different.
One way to approach writing persuasive essay topics is to keep it simple. The goal is to attract your reader into your own story, and by being obvious and straightforward, you are actually encouraging them to do the same. Avoid making this the focal point of your essay. Remember that you are trying to convey something that you have experienced and that you would like the reader to take from you.
This is a basic adage in most professions, including writing. Always write about what you know, instead of telling them what you know. If you do this, they will be more inclined to believe that you have an interesting story to tell.
